Rose Care
Be aware of fungal diseases on roses i.e black spot and powdery mildew. As the weather warms up and we experience higher humidity these can become a real problem. It is a good idea to ensure your roses have enough air flow through the middle of them, this will help prevent fungal problems. Roses can be sprayed with any good fungal spray, eg: Triflorine. Once you have treated the disease the affected leaves will drop to the ground, they should be removed and put in the garbage bin (not in the compost). New leaves will then replace the old damaged ones.
