Irrigation Over the Winter Months
A reminder to turn off your watering systems for the winter months while we are experiencing such a heavy amount of rainfall. Saucers full of water under your pot plants can cause root rot if left sitting there, so remember to check these and empty them regularly.
Now is the time to remove flowers on your winter annuals. This will encourage the plants to put their energy into growth and they will in turn produce a better flowering display in the long run.
